He holds a MD in radiology and is a distinguished Veena artist, having achieved All India First in the Annual All India Radio competitions in 1991. Dr. Prasad is also known for his groundbreaking work, such as performing a CT scan on the Veena, comparing it with the human body, and conducting research on emotional responses to ragas using functional MRI. He has presented his findings extensively and holds numerous medical publications in prestigious journals. Apart from his academic pursuits, Dr. Prasad has performed in esteemed music sabhas across the country and is recognized as a TEDx speaker. Veenadhari Bhamidipaty has just completed her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) from GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, and she seamlessly integrates her engineering background with her passion for music, particularly Veena playing. With a solid foundation in engineering, she excels in technical skills and problem-solving. Her love for music, inherited from her renowned Veena artist father, has led her to actively contribute to music research. She is also an active researcher and has published her work in renowned journals. Recently honored with the prestigious Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbulakshmi Fellowship, Veenadhari is committed to upholding the rich tradition of Vizianagaram-style Veena playing. Her dedication to both disciplines reflects a profound passion for her dual pursuits.
