Václav Snášel received a master's degree in numerical mathematics from the Faculty of Science, Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic, in 1981, and the Ph.D. degree in algebra and number theory from Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic, in 1991. He is currently a full professor and the rector with the VŠB—Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Chu-Chuan Chu graduated from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1988 and received a Ph.D. in Faculty of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Engineering from Flinders University, Australia, in 2004. She has 17 years of experience in artificial intelligence research, including intelligent computing, data mining, information hiding, and machine learning. From 2004 to 2013, she worked in the Information Management Department of Cheng Shiu University in Taiwan. During this period, she implemented a total of 8 projects for the National Science Council of Taiwan, including chairing 3 projects and co-hosting 5 projects. From 2009 to 2019, she served as a research fellow and adjunct associate professor in the School of Science and Engineering at Flinders University. During her tenure, she also participated in several Australian Research Council research projects. From 2024, she served as a professor Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China.

Jeng-Shyang Pan is the professor and the dean of Artificial Intelligence Research Institute in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. He also got the part-time work in Shandong University of Science and Technology. He received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, the M.S. degree in Communication Engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, U.K. in 1996. He has published more 500 papers indexed by SCI, the H-Index is 72 and the total cited times are more than 21000. He is the IET fellow, UK, and has been the vice chair of IEEE Tainan Section. He was Awarded Gold Prize in the International Micro Mechanisms Contest held in Tokyo, Japan, in 2010.

Anna Esposito received her “Laurea Degree” summa cum laude in Information Technology and Computer Science from University of Salerno in 1989 with a thesis on: The Behaviour and Learning of a Deterministic Neural Net (published on Complex System, vol 6(6), 507-517, 1992). She received her Ph.D. Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Napoli “Federico II” in 1995. Her Ph.D. thesis on: Vowel Height and Consonantal Voicing Effects: Data from Italian (published on Phonetica, vol 59(4),197-231, 2002) was developed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE), under the supervision of Professor Kenneth N Stevens. She has been Post Doc at the International Institute for Advanced Scientific Studies (IIASS), assistant professor at the Department of Physics at the University of Salerno (Italy), and research professor (2000–2002) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Wright State University (WSU), Dayton, OH, USA.

Lingping Kong received a master's degree and Ph.D. degree in computer applied technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China, in 2013 and 2018. She is currently a senior Researcher at VSB—Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.
