Dr. Afzal Shah is Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry in the University of Bahrain. His PhD is from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan and his post doctorate is from the University of Toronto, Canada. He has supervised the thesis of 8 PhD and 30 M.S students. He is the recipient of fellowships/awards from the American Chemical Society, TUBITAK and Pakistan Council of Science and Technology. He has published more than 150 research articles in peer refereed Scopus indexed journals. His research is focused on the development of electrochemical nanosensors for drugs analysis and detection of water toxins.
