Abdulkadir Çevik is a Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of Gaziantep University. He has published over 120 peer-reviewed research papers and books in the materials science and engineering areas and received over 2600 citations. His research interests are soft computing, RC structures, steel structures, impact performance, bond strength, fiber reinforced alkali activated materials, and mechanical strength and durability of geopolymers. He serves as a reviewer for multiple journals and has advised more than 25 master of science and PhD students.
