Professor Dr. Jesse Li-Ling obtained his MBBS from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1993 and PhD in Medical Genetics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2000. He conducted his postdoctoral research in Bioinformatics at Tsinghua University between 2001 to 2003, and became an associated professor at China Medical University in 2003. He was promoted to a full professor in 2007. In 2011, he joined Sichuan University as a full professor, and is currently vice chairman of the
