Matthew Sangster is Senior Lecturer in Romantic Studies, Fantasy and Cultural History at the University of Glasgow, and the author of Living as an Author in the Romantic Period (2021). He is co-investigator on two AHRC projects on historical library borrowings and has served on the Executive of the British Association for Romantic Studies for twelve years.
