Satyaranjan Bairagi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to this, he worked as a Research Associate under a project funded by EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council), at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. He completed his Ph.D. in Material Science (Smart Textiles) from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India, in 2021. He has received “Distinction in Doctoral Thesis? award for the best PhD thesis. His area of research interest includes functional textiles, engineered materials for energy harvesting, polymers, smart textiles, nanocomposites, surface engineering, triboelectric and piezoelectric nanogenerators, fabrication and characterization of functional materials: nanofibres and metal oxides. He has published several research articles in the research fields mentioned above.
