Dr. Weidong Zhang obtained his BSc and Master degree in Natural Medicinal Chemistry from the Second Military Medical University in 1988 and 1991, respectively. He received his PhD in Natural Medicinal Chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry (1998), under the supervision of Professor HuiTing Li. He is currently a professor of the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Second Military Medical University. His research mainly focuses on Chinese medicine
