Dr. da-Silva is a biologist with experience in the study of the production and function of H2S in plant cells. She graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, with a Master’s degree in plant Physiology from the Federal University of Viçosa and a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. She has experience in plant biochemistry, plant physiology and cell signaling with an emphasis on heavy metal stress, saline stress, water deficit and flooding.
